It runs on safe 12V DC power through the included adapter, so it can be installed close to wood, gypsum and furniture surfaces. The self-adhesive 3M-style backing sticks directly to clean, dry surfaces, and the strip can be cut at marked points every 3 LEDs to fit exact lengths. This makes it ideal for false ceiling coves, kitchen under-cabinet lighting, wardrobe and shelf lighting, staircase edges and TV or mirror backlighting.
